We follow safer recruitment practices to ensure we only provide the best possible support staff. All of our staff are highly trained in de-escalation and physical intervention techniques, and must hold an enhanced DBS. We train our staff to understand and deal with trauma in young people, as well as safeguarding, first aid and child exploitation.

All our staff receive the following training (as a minimum):

Safeguarding, COSHH, GDPR, Equality and Diversity, Fire Safety, Physical Intervention, Positive Behaviour Enforcement, Manual Handling, First Aid, Medication

Administration.

Work for us

We are looking for support workers who have experience working in social care,

can provide support for young people who need patience and understanding.

 

Ideally you will be Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare qualified

(or willing to work towards it) and have 2 years experience in the care industry.

All our staff share our core values of hope, empowerment, compassion, advocacy

respect, empathy, acceptance and understanding and will be fully committed to the

young people we support, and to making a difference.

 

To apply you must have a full clean driving license with access to a vehicle for work.

You should be flexible in your work life and preferably have some experience of

supporting young people with complex behaviours,

although full training will be given.

 

We are open to applications from those who feel they

have transferable skills and share our values.
